I have been a member there for 5 years and have never been bored if I'm logged in there! Yes, I know. As a forum owner, I shouldn't be admitting this to my members but what the hay! I love The Forum Site with all the friendly and sometimes crazy (in a good way) mods and admins! If you get a chance, check TFS out.

Would it be PM spam if it was just to your friends ? Well I ain't never been in the forum hole , but I'm betting it wouldn't be as fancy as the facade you had for an avatar the other day . So you have had to spend all your spare time running off squatters (bots) that took over when they found no one home huh? I went on a road trip once and was gone almost 2 weeks , when I got home a darn raccoon had found the pet door and made him self to home . That was a mess to get cleaned up . Are bots as messy as raccoons I wonder?

Yup. They can check links in PM too! Even though Tino said he can't, it's auto monitored.  .. I've never been to a fancy forumhole. Loving the 5 star one now! There were about 6000-10000 posts  . And I was thinking wow I'm getting so many posts while I was gone. But no! Most were all spam! I haven't advertised this site at all, I started as a group chat forum for classmates.

So is it the whole message in a PM or just links in the PM's that are auto monitored? The reason I'm asking is, when someone posts about grief I will PM them a link to a really good grief forum I found when I lost my daughter . I just figured it is good manners not to post links to one forum while posting in another forum . That's pretty cool IMO the way this forum started.

That's pretty cool IMO the way this forum started.
Oh those support type links are fine. There is just an auto trigger (Since most forum softwares have those at start, I'm pretty sure TS has it enabled too). If it sounds like spam (common - mostly one liner links and/or with jibberish words) or been reported by pm receiver (rare). And I'm very sorry to hear about your loss!

Well, TFS server is down so, time to get back on here!! Sucks for others! -I don't remember the TFS server ever being down today.Maybe I stepped away for a bit when it was down. Lucky me.
