There are 3 kinds of love:
philia (brotherly love)
eros (love for the opposite sex/marital relationship)
agape (godly love)
among the 3, agape is the strongest and should be the love that abounds the whole world. it is what makes someone lays down his life for another. it is the patience that you build up when flames are thrown to you. it is the carefulness that you do not hurt someone else, physically, emotionally, verbally. it is the love that forgives and forgets the bitterness that came before it. love is the fulfillment of the LAW.
it is possible that you have all 3 towards one person like your spouse.
